Step one
Download freeware GNS

Step two
Download Cisco 3640 series IOS. There are several reason why better to use 3640 then others model.

Step three
Download labx.net file

Step four
Create folders
D:\Dynagen\
D:\Dynagen\images -> put the IOS from step two here
D:\Dynagen\temp
D:\Dynagen\iewb
D:\Dynagen\iewb\labx -> put the labx.net file from step three here
better to have same folder arrangement where we put IOS, .net file, and configuration file



Step five
Install GNS and WinPCAP as normal and restart the PC

Step six
Run GNS and do initial configuration

On General tab set
1. Project directory to D:\Dynagen
2. IOS/PIX Directory to D:\Dynagen\Images

On Dynamips tab set
1. executable path to C:\Program Files\GNS3\Dynamips\dynamips-wxp.exe
2. Working directory to D:\Dynagen\temp
3. uncheck all the check box
4. click test

On IOS image and hypervisors
1. choose D:\Dynagen\images\c3640-jk9o3s-mz.124-16.bin
2. platform : c3600
3. model : 3640
4. idle pc : 0x604d1a9c


Step seven
Run the .net file
